1. Policy statement
At Aspired Careers Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), we are committed to ensuring, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety, and welfare of our employees, candidates, visitors, and anyone affected by our business operations.
We comply with our duties under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and all relevant regulations to provide a safe working environment.
2. Scope
This policy applies to:
All employees and representatives of Aspired Careers Limited.
Candidates we place into client roles (to the extent reasonably possible within our agency capacity).
Visitors to our offices or business premises.
3. Our commitments
We will:
Provide a safe and healthy working environment for employees and visitors.
Conduct risk assessments and take steps to eliminate or minimise risks.
Provide information, instruction, and training to ensure staff can work safely.
Ensure equipment and systems are safe to use.
Monitor workplace health and safety and continuously improve practices.
Cooperate with clients to ensure candidates are placed in safe working environments.
4. Responsibilities
Management
Ensure this policy is implemented and reviewed annually.
Provide resources for health and safety management.
Monitor compliance with health and safety laws and best practice.
Employees & representatives
Take reasonable care of their own health and safety, and that of others.
Report any hazards, incidents, or near-misses promptly.
Use equipment safely and in line with instructions.
Co-operate with management in maintaining a safe workplace.
Candidates
Must comply with health and safety requirements of the client workplace.
Should raise any health and safety concerns with both the client and Aspired Careers Limited.
5. Risk management
We will:
Carry out risk assessments for our own workplace.
Ensure clients confirm they have suitable health and safety policies in place for roles where candidates are placed.
Record and review incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
6. Training & communication
Employees will receive health and safety training appropriate to their role.
Information about health and safety will be communicated clearly to all staff.
Awareness of client health and safety obligations will be part of the candidate placement process.
7. Monitoring & review
This policy will be reviewed annually or sooner if legislation, operations, or best practices change.
Regular checks will be carried out to ensure ongoing compliance.
