The Opportunity
As Head of Strategic Finance (Projects), you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial roadmap and leading high‑impact initiatives. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll partner with the executive team to deliver projects that drive growth, efficiency, and innovation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing a 5‑year financial strategy to support ambitious expansion in the property and mortgage services market.
- Leading cost optimisation, automation, and AI‑driven efficiency programmes to modernise processes.
- Delivering Board‑level financial analysis and storytelling to influence strategic decisions.
- Supporting mergers and acquisitions, including financial evaluation, due diligence, and integration planning.
- Driving projects in company valuation, funding, and incentive structures.
- Ensuring compliance with evolving standards, including FRS102.
About You
We’re seeking a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience and a proven track record in strategic finance leadership.
You’ll bring:

- Experience in system upgrades, automation, and data‑led transformation.
- Confidence in partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes.
- A proactive, hands‑on approach to delivering results.
