Training & Competence Supervisor (T&C)
London | Hybrid | Up to £45,000 + Benefits

The Role
As the Training & Competence Supervisor, you’ll guide advisers through their development journey, ensuring they meet regulatory expectations while feeling supported, coached and set up for success. Your work will directly influence the quality of advice delivered across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing structured coaching and mentoring across mortgage and protection advice
- Delivering training sessions covering regulation, suitability, product knowledge and best practice
- Carrying out observations, file reviews and adviser 1:1 development meetings.
- Ensuring the T&C framework is followed and documented in line with FCA requirements
- Collaborating with Compliance and Quality Assurance to maintain strong, consistent advice standards
What You’ll Bring
- CeMAP (or equivalent qualification)
- Solid understanding of FCA T&C rules, MCOB, ICOBS and Consumer Duty
- Experience supervising, coaching or supporting advisers in a regulated environment
- Strong communication skills and a structured, organised approach to record‑keeping
- A genuine interest in adviser development and continuous improvement
